Hester Aspland is an illustrator based in Scotland, creating detailed ink illustrations and ceramics rooted in the realms of folklore, wild places, landscape and history.

In 2024 Hester was selected as artist in residence by the Beltane Fire Society, an Edinburgh based community arts performance charity that holds two fire festivals in Edinburgh celebrating the ancient Celtic festivals of Beltane and Samhuinn.
