RWS Tarot - Pamela Colman Smith

In 1909 the artist Pamela Colman Smith, under the direction of Arthur Edward Waite, created an innovative 78-card Tarot deck that would be recognised as revolutionary.

The Rider Waite Tarot is the most popular and widely used tarot card deck in the world. Often thought of as being the best tarot deck for beginners, as well as those that have been reading for many years. 

Thanks to the descriptive scenes that illustrate all the minor Arcana, this deck broke away from the Tarot's centuries-old Marseille tradition to become the reference point for all the decks published later.
